Hello! I’m Sydney Kreimer — wife to Jacob and dog-mom to our scrumptious lab, Mac. I am deeply obsessed with both of them.
I love mornings and the way they make anything feel possible, a morning workout or a run, my coffee ritual, homemade sourdough, being outside, crunchy health podcasts, chocolate, a Friday night in, a house project, a Saturday night out, and traveling to wild new places.
Photography found me a little by accident. I graduated college in 2020 with a degree in Biology, but I’ve always been drawn to art, enjoying drawing, painting, interior design, and eventually photography, as hobbies. In the summer of that crazy year, my sister asked me to take her high school senior photos. That quickly turned into photographing her friends, and before I knew it, I had my first “gig.”
Since then, things have bloomed slowly and organically as I’ve also had a full-time, corporate job. My client base expanding beyond people I knew personally, and my experience growing to include families, newborns, couples, solo sessions, and weddings. Taking my time over the past six years has allowed me to improve technically while also honing my personal style.
I love capturing authentic emotion, movement, and the true essence of how a moment really felt. Big, proud smiles. Belly laughs. Happy tears. And the calm, quiet in-between moments, too. I edit in a similar vein, leaving images looking timeless and untouched. True-to-color, clean, and every once in a while sprinkled with a little filmy grain on top. Yum!
My approach is largely documentary, especially during events — I like to sit back, let moments unfold naturally, and allow clients to be themselves. That said, I always block out time for some posed photos so every gallery includes a handful of more expressive, editorial portraits as well.
Thank you so much for being here. I truly love this life and the opportunities I get to capture little bundles of it. I hope we get to meet soon!
